Today has been a pretty good day so far. We are in the “slow season” at work so there really isn’t anything going on. Luckily I can get away with coming in to work for a little bit and then pretty much doing whatever I want.
For lunch today, I made the 25 minute drive to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. I met up with Newman, Adam, Chad, and Kirby to eat at Pho Binh (formerly Pho Hoa Binh). The finest Vietnamese food in the city. They have an incredible lunch buffet that is cheap and both vegan/vegetarian and meat eater friendly. The options today were green bean tofu (personal favorite), lemongrass tofu (classic favorite), and pineapple tofu. It’s not very often that you get green bean on the buffet so I had to take full advantage. It was delicious. Jason, Jeanie, and Patrick ended up being there as well. Jason owed me money so he bought my lunch. Score!
After lunch, we went over to browse around at Goner Records. As much as I try to not spend money when I go in there, it never fails. I did pretty good though and only bought three records. Today’s pick up:
Iceage “New Brigade” LP
Mikal Cronin “Tide” 7”
Life Trap “Solitary Confinement” 7”

I’m bout to head downtown for the Grizzlies home opener. I can’t tell you how excited I am for basketball to be back. This is my fourth year as a season ticket holder and I love it. Go Grizz!
